Afrofest Sudbury 2024 – Aug 23 and Aug 24

Afrofest Sudbury is a not-for-profit organization and festival presenter aimed at celebrating and sharing Afro culture through music, food, dance, fashion, art and craft. The outdoor festival hosted annually at Bell Park, Sudbury ON features costume parade, face painting, vendor booths, performing arts and activities for kids and adults in the community. Since inauguration in 2018, Afrofest Sudbury continues to improve programming and activities to engage the community by offering opportunities to African-Canadian emerging artists, businesses, organizations and individuals. Afrofest Sudbury is committed to multiculturalism and diversity through art and culture toward economic development and social well-being of the community. This year, the event takes place over two days with activities on day 1, starting at 5 PM and ending at 11 PM. Day 2 begins at 11 AM and ends at 11 PM.
