KXradio is the brain-child of Tonye Iti-Oriakhi, Nigerian-Canadian social worker. Observing that there were no radio stations playing afrobeats in all of northern Ontario, Lady Tee, as she is known on-air, decided it was time to bring beats from the motherland and everything afro beats to Sudbury and the north of Ontario. KX radio went live on October 1st, 2021. Lady Tee also offers host/compere services at events.
