NOBEEP Community Engagement At Afrofest.

On the 27th of August 2022, from 11 AM to 5:35 PM, NOBEEP will be present at Afrofest at Bell Park to engage with the community. We will have a booth operated by NOBEEP staff, so visit us and inquire about our services. We hope to see you there! Afrofest Sudbury is a free outdoor community festival celebrating Afro culture through music, food, dance, fashion, art, and crafts.

NOBEEP Open House

On Friday, October 21, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we will be hosting an Open House for individuals and organizations interested in learning more about our services. The event will take place at our office on 73 Elm Street. Beyond sharing information on our mandate, we will be to highlighting the resources available to the NOBEEP target entrepreneurs. This function will also serve as an opportunity for all attendees to network.

The symposium will feature: Experts in different business areas sharing their knowledge. Black businesses providing the community with more information about their businesses. The gala is open for all to attend as part of AHA’s mission to promote unity and togetherness through cultural experience that promotes diversity and understanding. This year’s gala theme is focused on emphasizing the connection between cross-cultural integration and innovative success. To achieve this goal, we will be having a special keynote given by Mr. Wes Hall. Wes is parting with his precious family time on a Saturday to fly down to Sudbury and educate community leaders to become active allies to the black community. This is a milestone event that is not just reflecting on our history but is about "History in the Making".
